Tres Manos, also known as Your Only Friend and Jessica Saves, is a revered figure in the underground electronic music scene. With an illustrious 30-year career, he has been involved in almost every aspect of the dance music and nightclub industry.
Originally a raver from Washington D.C., Tres Manos actually began his DJ career in 1992 in Denver, unknowingly setting the stage for a lifelong dedication to music. In 1998, he transplanted to the heart of Barcelona, Spain, where he took on a leadership role in the city's thriving Underground House and Techno scene. From owning one of the first underground record shops and organizing some of the original Off-Sonar parties, “Radar” and “Soñar”, to building one of the first techno sound systems at Burning Man in 1996, Tres Manos has always been a pioneer in the global underground scene.
His sound, deeply personal and momentous, has not only marked his presence in renowned venues around the globe, but also secured him residencies in iconic events such as Davide Squillace's "This and That” and "Zoo Project" in Ibiza.
In addition to his remarkable DJ career, Tres Manos is a formidable producer, recognized for his distinctive and in-the-moment sound. He is a master of his craft, often lending his own vocals to his productions. His musical creations find homes on revered labels such as This and That, Om Records, Aesoteric, Cyclo, Detour, Loudeast, and SoundBlack. Furthermore, Tres Manos has established his own imprint, Your Only Friend Recordings, serving as a platform for esteemed artists like Rick Wade and Lady Blacktronika.
